We are pleased to announce the publication today of our Introductory Paper entitled “Kazakhstan’s Candidature to a Non-Permanent Seat in the United Nations Security Council for 2017/18”.
KazakhstanUNSC.com is a multilingual website which explains the main policy priorities of Kazakhstan’s bid to secure a seat as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the years 2017/18.
The Introductory Paper sets out the main political, economic and social developments inside Kazakhstan, as well as its international foreign policy initiatives and the four pillars of its bid: food security, water security, energy security and nuclear security.
It is the first in a series of publications that over the next months will seek to cover these important policy priorities in greater detail. Please subscribe to our mailing list, and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube for all the latest news and progress on Kazakhstan’s UNSC bid.
Kazakhstan is fully engaged in its commitment to assume the responsibilities as a member of the Security Council. We hope you enjoy the Introductory Paper, and give your wholehearted support to our bid.
